went out with jingjing and yingying today! though we didn't really do much, surely we did enjoy one another's presence. :D
went window shopping around Century Square and Tampines Mall. afterwhich, we headed down to Fairprice ( their fav shop,) HAHA!.. they got their present for their teachers. (: i was thinking.. do lecturers celebrate lecturers' day too? lol~ =x
next stop was to Ayres to get my bangle! ((:
and i got back the same colour _____. well, i guess i just missed my old one which was lost. =P then, we settled down at Mac's for ice-cream as i was having cravings for sundae! HAHA! we talked and shared much, really glad to be able to catch up with them once in awhile. ((:

EXAMS ARE OVER!!! :D
yeeeeehaw~
and boy do i lack sleep. =\
yayness, can catch up with all my beauty sleep from tonight onwards! hoho! (:
after watching the Beijing Olympic games last few weeks, i find myself beginning to love sports more. Especially, volleyball! ^^
as i observed how different individuals play their game or sport during each match/ tournament, i learnt a lot about their strategies.. emotions.. sportsmanship.. and also how determined and perservering each individual is about winning the game. it's just so interesting to discover sports in another angle, something other than just the score or who wins but the character of the sportsman or sportswoman. (:
isn't our spiritual walk with God the same?
no matter whether we run, walk, swim or fly towards the end of this race, we only have one end in mind.. which is when we reunited with God in heaven to rule and reign with Him. God is never going to stand at the finishing point with a stopwatch to record how long we took to reach the finishing line nor check how many medals of honour and achievements we had won for ourselves along the way. But God looks at how we have came all this while, how we've been transformed day by day as we approaches the finishing line. (:

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
And at the end of this race, i want to be able to say that "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." -[2 Timothy 4:7] ((:

well well..
much has been going on for the past few weeks i shall say.
aside from the mind-boggling mugging week,
it was such a blessing to be able to praise and worship God, together as a whole congregation, under the night sky.. stars and not forgetting the fireworks! HAHA~! :DD isn't God's creation and the works of His hands just simply amazing? ^^ hee!
somehow certain things cropped up before J.U.M.P and was feeling rather low. But God never fails to amaze me with His unfailing love and His presence, was very much assured and im'ma happy girl again yo! ((: Indeed, one word from heaven can change the world and what more a person's life. (:
and.. it was our dear Shuhfy's birthday too! 24th Aug 2008~ woo! kinda had a 'wacky' birthday bash for her with all those interesting nuggets and the chi-bu-wan-de Subway! hoho~ we also dinner-ed at Saprino that night, ordered Double pepperoni and Naspolitana which Px challenged Lestari to say out the order to the waitress as "Maspolitana!~" HAHAHA~ and i just realised that i've always still been confused over which hand holds the fork and which holds the knife.. =x
anyway, tomorrow's my last paper!!! :D
i just can't wait for my holidays~

spent a real meaningful and fun day out with Pris and Peixin today! :D
we went to shop around town, ate at an Indonesian food outlet at Cineleisure then caught The Dark Night there. the movie was superb and the sound and visual effects were simply awesome and thrilling! ((: well, it was hilarious to see Pris jump at certain times of the movie when the sound was so sudden. HAHA~ =x
it was just more than what we ate, do or even when we chatted.. it was the time spent enjoying one another's presence and also sharing our lives with one another that is the key. (: whee~
notice myself sighing away as i stare at my laptop, realised that i was actually worrying about something..

Lord, i'm totally clueless of what to do next, but Lord, please guide me through this..
help me to grow so much more in my mental capacity, wisdom and love so that i would be able to help her better. i thank You in advance,

woo~
had my first ENGIT Family Day at Pasir Ris park today! ((:
it was really a great time of fellowship, games and feasting! hahaha~
well, started off my day at Peixin's house with 3/4 of the cg. We met at 9am to cook and prepare food for the retreat. there were chicken wings and egg mayo for the sandwhiches. At first was rather cynical about my own suggestion for preparing egg mayo cuz it's been ages since i've last stepped into the kitchen but praise God, it all turned out great and yummy! yay! thank God for ENGIT 3's help and for all of you who woke up early to prepare the food! :D
After all the cooking, we took cab down to Pasir Ris park as we were already late. The games we played were really awesome and i believe everyone had fun! woo~ thank God for Xueting and the games team! :DD Jiawen told me that "everyone here really knows how to cook leh!" HAHA~ ENGIT 1,2 and 3, thank God for your effort in preparing the food! we're the chefs of the future!!! =P hees.
sheep, really enjoyed my day spent with you and the family of God today. ((:

congratulations my dearest Jiawen aka Chicken Little! =P
On this day 4th August 2008, Jiawen made the best and most important decision in her life which is to receive Jesus into her life as her personal Lord and Saviour! :DD
the joy is just so unspeakable, to see someone coming to know God and crossing the line of faith! ((: furthermore, this friendship forged is such a great encouragement and blessing from God to me. This girl with such a simple heart showed me what true friendship is and can be. (: i believe with all my heart that she's gonna grow so so so much more in the Lord as she walks with Him daily! ^^ i love you Jiawen!~
Indeed, salvation is free for all but commitment comes only when you love something. (: so let's all give our best in whatever we do for the One who love! ENGIT, 40 by end Aug! jiayou, it shall be done. Amen? :DD
