yesyesyes!
i will be off to missions this Tuesday!~ :DD
really very excited and anticipating on how God is going to move in Kuching. We want to aid them in discovering seeds with the desire and potential to rise up to God's calling, to urge them to take up leadership and that it's totally possible for a student leader to lead! ^^
yup, i really thank God for this opportunity to be able to go for missions after waiting for a long long long time. (: yea, and i definitely don't want it to be a wasted or unfruitful trip.
The following are my objectives for this Short-term missions...
1. To be a blessing to people in Hope Kuching.
-to be able to encourage and inspire them to do greater things for God. (:
2.To learn from our fellow brothers and sisters there.
-to come back to Singapore with a bigger heart for mission and for people.
-increase my evangelism momentum. (:
3. To witness a personal breakthrough in the area of faith. (:
4. To receive a vision for my ministry and my caregroup in Hope Singapore. (:
yesyes, if you're reading this.. please keep the Kuching missions team in prayer! ^^
that we'll be there not only to impart but to bring back a different spirit too, one that is of God! :DD
God has been revealing to me things about love these days.
The heartbeat to win lost souls.. the joy in sharing the gospel.. the eagerness to make every opportunity to sow a seed in someone else's life.. the humility to serve one another in the family of God, just purely out of love.
Qn: Have we lost the passion for people over time?
God i want to be there to be renewed.
i want to love others like how You love them,
see them through Your very lenses..
grow in me a shepherd's heart Lord!
break my heart for what breaks Yours!~

went fishing with Serene and Cindy today~ (:

well, though didn't really like do much important stuff, at least i know i didn't waste my time at all. whee~
1. Went for free hair treatment at Aunt's house with my grandparents.
-got to really spent some meaningful time just talking to them and updating one another about our lives. i really love them lots, praying that there'll be opportunities for me to share to them about God soon! ^^
-And Glen said that he realised that i've been to many "treatments" lately and i have to agree with him that all these are indeed blessings from God. woo~ :DD
2.Dmm went to Grapevine! ((:
-Peixin paid for all our food and drinks. =x really thank God for her, someone who really loves blessing people generously. hee, learnt lots from the teaching that night and of course we feasted lots too! haha! yup, many funny things happened on our way home.. LOL! ask me if you would like to know what. hurhur~ Really very grateful to God for this group of people who really dedicate their lives to serve God and His people. woo, let's jiayou! we want to see ENGIT 3 15 coming to past sooooon!~ :DD

-really really really thank God for my chairperson, Din, who really took out time to help me in CKT! and it's when we have expectation towards someone or something that do we feel this way at times.. rahh :(
when we place our expectation of people or things, sometimes they fail us. it's the hard truth that we must all know. But i pray that i'll place on hope and expectation on God rather than man or things.
help me Father!!
instead of asking You to change others or my circumstances, Lord i want to ask for You to first change me..

really needed such treatment cuz many has been saying i always look tired, especially because of my eye bags and dark circles. =\
well, had a not so good experience. =x

had a great time celebrating Lantern Festival with my family and relatives over a feast at the Jumbo seafood restaurant situated at East Coast. the food was fantabulous! ^^ hee, sinful hor? >.<>

i have to admit that sometimes i do limit God's power unknowingly.. i look at my own limitations and weaknesses rather than looking to God for how He's going to work thru' me. For ultimately, all the glory should go back to God! :DD And this song really encourages so much.. indeed, God's voice should overwrite Satan's voice in our lives. (:
i want to live a life that is God-ward rather than inward! ^^

lastest binge! =x
yes.. i pledge guilty to fats. =\
anyhow, this whole week has been rather fruitful. (:
God spoke to me so so much, especially in the area of love and attitude.
The only way to find out what is love and how to love is God because God is love.. as simple as that.
sometimes, loving someone who doesn't respond positively, really wears me out and gradually becomes a burden in my heart. it just seemed like loving him/ her is just another commandment from God that i must obey. Loving that person becomes a task and not something i want to give anymore.. And indeed, God really tested me in this many times that sometimes i just ask God.. "How much more must i give?".
yes, it's definitely easy to love those that love you back but how about those we don't seem to budge? (as yet.) tough eh? but definitely possible with God! :D [1 Cor 13] -Love is the key!~ ((: bottom line: love God, love people! ^^
i'm here to testify that prayer comes a long way,
and when you give your all in loving God and His people..
God'll use you to stir something in that person's heart too. (:
whenever you start to have the thought "how much more must i give?", think about how much God has given to you. we love because God first loved us yea? hees ((:
